The Southeast Texas Central South Archdiocese is an autonomous province with its own governing structure and primate (Bishop). This Episcopal Archdiocese was established to foster dialogue among the Anglican Church, the Orthodox Church, and the Roman Catholic Church. As a member of the global Anglican Communion, the Southeast Texas Central South Archdiocese was founded by individuals committed to upholding the traditions of the Anglo-Catholic Church and actively participates in the broader Old Catholic Communion, connecting with the Anglican, Orthodox, and Roman Catholic communities. The Most Reverend Dr. Bobby Land Jr. serves as the Cardinal Archbishop of the United States and Metropolitan See of the Tyler Province.
